Ramon Jacinto, itinalaga bilang Presidential Adviser for Telecommunications
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang sikat na musikero na si Ramon Jacinto bilang Presidential Adviser for Telecommunications.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, nilagdaan ni Pangulong Duterte ang appointment paper ni Jacinto noong November 25, 2020 na may ranggong Cabinet Secretary.
Hindi na bago si Jacinto sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Duterte dahil nakahawak na ito sa iba’t ibang posisyon.
Dating naging Presidential Adviser on Economic Affairs and Information Technology si Jacinto at kalaunan ay naging Undersecretary ng Department of information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Ayon kay Roque, kumpiyansa ang Palasyo na magiging epektibo sa bagong trabaho si Jacinto.
“We are therefore confident that PA Jacinto would ably and effectively discharge his duties in this new assignment,” pahayag ni Roque.
