Pangulong Duterte hinimok ang publiko na tularan ang pagiging makabayan at tapang ni Bonifacio
Ngayong ginugunita ang Bonifacio Day, umaasa si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na tutularan ng mga Filipino ang pagiging makabayan at tapang ni Andres Bonifacio.
Mahalaga ang pagiging makabayan at pagkakaroon ng tapang ayon sa pangulo ngayong kinakaharap ng bansa ang pandemya ng COVID-19.
Umere ang taped speech ni Pangulong Duterte sa wreath-laying ceremony sa Bonifacio Monument sa Caloocan City.
Sinabi ng pangulo na dahil sa pagmamahal ni Bonifacio sa bansa ay naipaglaban ng ating mga ninuno ang kalayaan ng Pilipinas.
“Now, more than ever, as we overcome the challenges of COVID 19 pandemic, as we remember his life and deeds, may the values he fought for inspire us all to become worthy heirs of the just, progressive, and inclusive society that he envisioned more than a century ago,” ayon sa pangulo.
