P4.9-M halaga ng marijuana, sinira sa Benguet
Mahigit P4.9 milyong halaga ng marijuana ang sinira sa probinsya ng Benguet.
Ayon sa Philippine National Police Public Information Office (PNP PIO), nagresulta ang patuloy na police operation sa Cordillera ng marijuana eradication sa bayan ng Kibungan at Bakun.
Sa nakalipas na dalawang araw, sinira ang 27,400 fully-grown marijuana plants na may estimated value na P4,980,000.
Maliban dito, nakumpiska rin ng mga awtoridad ang 2,500 marijuana seedlings na nagkakalaga ng P300,000.
Sinunog ang marijuana plants at seedlings katuwang ang PDEA Regional Office.
