PNP Chief Sinas, ipinag-utos ang pagkasa ng manhunt ops sa drug suspect na bumaril sa isang pulis sa Mindoro
Ipinag-utos ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Debold Sinas sa MIMAROPA police na magkasa ng hot pursuit and manhunt operations laban sa drug suspect na bumaril sa isang pulis sa drug buy-bust operation sa Oriental Mindoro.
Ayon sa PNP Public Information Office, nabaril si Police Senior master Sergeant Rolly Castellano, miyembro ng Provincial Intelligence Unit of Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office sa operasyon sa Roxas noong Martes.
Dahil sa tinamong tama ng baril, kritikal ang kondisyon ni Castellano.
Base sa ulat na isinumite sa hepe ng PNP mula kay MIMAROPA PNP Regional Director Brig. Gen. Pascual Muñoz, nakatunog sa entrapment ang drug suspect na si Jonas Garcia kung kayat nagpaputok ng baril para makatakas.
Humarurot sakay ng motorsiklo ang drug suspect para makatakas matapos mabaril ang pulis.
Sa operational guidance na inilabas sa PNP units nang maitalaga bilang PNP Chief, iginiit ni Sinas ang pangangailangan ng protective gear sa police operations.
