Kinumpima ng Department of Health (DOH) na nagsimula na ang clinical trials gamit ang anti-viral drug na Avigan sa bansa.

Sinabi ng DOH na inumpisahan ang clinical trial sa naturang gamot matapos magluwag nang konti sa criteria para sa mga pasyente.
