Konstruksyon ng P25-M river wall project sa Zamboanga del Norte, tapos na – DPWH

Natapos na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang pagsasagawa ng revetment wall sa Talinga River Basin sa bahagi ng Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Sinabi ng kagawaran na makatutulong ito para mailigtas ang mga residente at ari-arian sa banta ng matinding pagbaha sa Barangay Talinga.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, natapos nang isang buwang mas maaga ang bagong river wall sa itinakdang schedule nito.

“The newly-built revetment structure will avert flooding and overflow of Talinga River and lessen the damage brought by typhoon season in the low-lying area of Barangay Talinga,” pahayag ng kalihim.

Kabilang sa P25-million flood control project ang konstruksyon ng 196.50 meters na revetment structure na may steel sheet pile foundation, concrete slope structure at earthworks.

Kasama ang naturang proyekto sa DPWH 2020 Regular Infrastructure Program.
