Isolation facility sa Quezon City, natapos na

Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang 96-bed capacity quarantine/isolation healthcare facility sa Quezon City University.

Bahagi ito ng pagpapalawak ng healthcare infrastructure sa National Capital Region.

Natapos ang nasabing pasilidad sa loob lamang ng 18 araw.

“These mobile health facilities in Quezon City University were constructed to enable the immediate isolation of mild and asymptomatic COVID-19 cases and mitigate its spread to nearby areas”, pahayag ni DPWH Secretary Mark Villar.

Na-convert ng Quezon City 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) ang 12 units ng 40-foot container vans para maging 48 air-conditioned rooms na may double beds.

Sa naturang pasilidad, mayroon din itong two-storey quarters ng medical workers na may toilet at air-conditioning units upang matiyak ang komportable at ligtas na temporary housing ng frontliners.
