Mga awtoridad at EEI Corp., iimbestigahan ang aksidente sa Muntinlupa
Magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon ang project contractor EEI Corporation at mga awtoridad ukol sa naganap na aksidente sa Cupang, Muntinlupa City.
Aksidenteng bumagsak ang steel girder mula sa Skyway Extension project sa bahagi ng East Service Road, Sabado ng umaga.
Nasa anim na sasakyan ang napaulat na naapektuhan.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng San Miguel Corporation na mahigpit na binabantayan ang sitwasyon sa mga apektado ng aksidente.
“Initial assessment shows that a crane of EEI fell as it was moving to its next position and hit the steel girder, causing it to fall,” ayon sa kumpanya.
Sinabi rin ng San Miguel Corporation na tiniyak ng naturang project contractor na ibibigay ang mga pangangailangan ng mga biktima.
“We deeply regret this unfortunate accident and assure a full and thorough investigation. Our thoughts and concern are with the victims and we will make sure they will get all the help they need. Their welfare is our priority,” dagdag pa nito.
Samatala, matapos ang initial assessment, maaantala ang pagtatapos ng konstruksyon ng Skyway Extension Project dahil sa insidente.
Mula sa December 2020 deadline, ang target completion na ng proyekto ay itinakda sa February 2021.
