200-MW solar farm gagamitin para sa suplay ng kuryente sa Bulacan Airport

Gagamitin ng 200-MW solar farm ang suplay ng kuryente sa Bulacan Airport.

Ayon kay San Miguel Corporation President at COO Ramon Ang, ang 200-MW solar farm ay mayroong sariling battery energy storage system.

Sa mga larawang ibinagi sa Facebook Page ni Ang ipinakita ang aktwal na itsura ng ilan sa mga battery storage.

Ito ay kuha sa battery storage facilities ng SMC sa mga lugar kung saa ginagawa ang mga ito gaya ng Pangasinan, Tarlac, Davao, at Negros.

“These can store and optimize release of energy from multiple sources, and will serve as a backstop to solar’s intermittent nature. This is part of our overall efforts to transition to cleaner energy sources and invest in environment-friendly technologies,” ayon kay Ang.
