Dahil sa pagsasailalim sa state of calamity sa buong Luzon, dapat ay ipatupad din ang prize freeze sa mga pangunahing bilhin.
Sa virtual briefing ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque tiniyak nitong nakatutok ang Department of Trade and Industry upang masiguro na naipatutupad ang prize freeze.
Kabilang sa sakop ng prize freeze ang mga pangunahing pagkain gaya ng mais, bigas, itlog, karne, at iba pa.
Sakop din dapat ng proze freeze ang mga delata, kape, tinapay, sabong panlaba, bottled water at tubig na nasa containers.
Ang mga gamot na classified ng Department of Health bilang “essentials” ay hindi rin pwedeng gumalaw ang presyo.
Gayundin ang presyo ng LPG at kerosene.
Tiniyak naman ng DTI na masusing babantayan ang pagpapairal ng prize freeze.
