25,000 pulis, nakatalaga para sa search and rescue ops sa Bagyong #UlyssesPH
Nasa 806 indibiduwal ang na-rescue ng police disaster response units sa mga lugar na lubog sa baha sa Luzon dahil sa Typhoon Ulysses.
Base sa isinumiteng ulat sa PNP Command Center sa Camp Crame, 301,000 katao ang nananatili sa 13,526 evacuation centers sa iba’t ibang rehiyon.
Nakatutok naman si PNP Chief General Debold Sinas sa sitwasyon ng mga apektadong rehiyon upang maiparating ang karagdagang deployment ng PNP disaster response units.
Bago pa man mag-landfall ang bagyo, inalerto na ni Sinas ang PNP Units para ihanda ang preposition disaster response personnel, equipment at resources.
Hanggang 10:00, Huwebes ng umaga (November 12), kabuuang 5,660 PNP personnel ang naka-deploy sa disaster response operations para umasiste sa mga apektadong residente.
Aabot sa 20,207 pulis naman mula sa Reactionary Standby Support Force and Search and Rescue Units ang nakahanda para sa rapid deployment habang 367 pulis ang magbibigay naman ng tulong at seguridad sa evacuation centers.
Sa situation reports mula sa PCC, nasa 411 ang bahang lugar, 519 lugar ang walang kuryente at 104 lugar ang walang telecommunication service.
Tinatayang 1,963 sasakyan naman ang napaulat na stranded sa 104 kalsada na hindi pa maaaring daanan dahil sa baha, 96 inter-island ang nananatiling stranded sa mga pantalan at 78 pasahero ng pitong kanseladong flights ang stranded sa paliparan.
