Pangulong Duterte, umapela sa mga magulang na pabakunahan ang mga anak
Personal na umapela si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga magulang na pabakunahan ang kanilang mga anak kontra sa tigdas, rubella at polio.
Ayon sa Pangulo, suportado niya ang hakbang ng Department of Health (DOH) at World Health Organization (WHO) sa pagsasagawa ng immunization.
“Let me express my unconditional support to the Department of Health and its partners, to World Health Organization and the United Nations Children’s Fund as they hold the nationwide measles, rubella, and polio supplemental immunization activity,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Ayon sa Pangulo, dapat na magsilbing leksyon sa lahat ang pandemya sa COVID-19.
“The most important lesson that we are learning from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic is that the health risks posed by the spread of communicable diseases must be seriously addressed,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Dapat aniyang pabakunahan ang bata na may edad na limang taong gulang pababa.
“I, therefore, call on parents of children under 5 years old as well as the local government leaders and other community stakeholders to support the immunization activity,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
“Together, let us safeguard the well-being of our children and ensure a healthier future for our nation. I wish you the best at mabuhay kayong lahat,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
