Ex-Philippine ambassador to Brazil Marichu Mauro, inasunto na sa pang-aabuso

Inanunsiyo ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Boy Locsin Jr. na nasampahan na ng kaso si dating Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Marichu Mauro dahil sa diumano’y ilang ulit na pang-aabuso sa kanyang Filipino household service staff.

Ngunit, hindi nabanggit ni Locsin kung ang naisampa laban kay Mauro ay kasong kriminal o administratibo.

Sinabi lang niya na alam na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang kasong kinahaharap ni Mauro.

Magugunita na agad pinabalik sa bansa ni Locsin si Mauro nang maipalabas sa television news sa Brazil ang CCTV footages sa diplomat house ng Philippine Embassy.

Mapapanood sa footages ang ilang pagkakataon na sinaktan ni Mauro ang kanyang kasambahay na Filipina.

Nakabalik na sa Koronadal City sa South Cotabato ang kasambahay at nabigyan na rin ito ng DFA ng P200,000 bilang tulong-pinansiyal.
