Natapos na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang tatlong isolation facilities para sa COVID-19 patients sa Pasay City.

Narito ang tatlong bagong pasilidad:
– WMall Quarantine Facility na may 160 bed capacity
– Folk Arts Theater na may 20-unit rooms
– Pasay City Sports Complex Quarantine Facility na may 62 cubicles, isang nurse station, isang working area at x-ray room.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, ibinase ang mga pasilidad sa design standard na inihanda ng DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local and National Health Facilities.

Bawat kwarto ay airconditioned at may private comfort room.

“These facilities in Pasay were constructed for mild to asymptomatic COVID-19 patients who have to be isolated outside their homes to prevent further spread of the virus,” pahayag ng kalihim.

Sa ikatlong linggo ng Nobyembre, target naman ng DPWH South Manila District Engineering Office na matapos ang ginagawang conversion ng container vans na may 72-bed capacity quarantine facility sa loob ng Villamor Air Base.
