Pinasusuri ni Senator Grace Poe sa Department of Transportation ang cashless toll payment sa expressways para maiwasan ang pagiging dehado ng mga motorista.
Giit ni Poe hindi dapat nang mahirapan ang motorista sa pagsunod nila sa mga regulasyon.
Sabi nito, ngayon libre na ang pagpapakabit ng radio frequency identification (RFID) ang dapat gawin ng DOTr ay paano maiiwasan na magkaroon ng dagdag pasanin pa ang mga motorista sa iyu ng ‘load balance.’
“Let us leave more money in their wallets by not asking for unnecessary deposits or a higher maintaining balance than they would use. People are burdened enough,” aniya.
Dagdag pa ni Poe, hindi na dapat magpatupad pa ng ‘minimum load balance’ dahil madami nang iniintindi ang publiko.
Puna nito, hindi na rin dapat nahihirapan pa ang mga motorista sa pagpapakabit ng RFID kung naaayos lang ang proseso at sistema.
