LOOK: PNP bumili ng P1.2B na halaga ng mga bagong gamit
May karagdagang mga bagong gamit ang Philippine National Police (PNP).
Sa ilalim ng PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 ay bumili ng mga bagong police vehicles, watercraft, communication equipment at rifles bilang bahagi ng kanilang modernization program.
Pinangunahan ni PNP Chief, Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan send-off of ceremony sa mga bagong biling gamit.
Kabilang sa mga bagong kagamitan ang mga sumusunod:
• 11 units ng Shuttle Bus
• 22 units ng High-Speed Tactical Watercraft
• 355 units ng Patrol Jeep Single Cab 4×2
• 5,767 units ng Galil Ace 22N 5.56mm Basic Assault Rifle
• 214 units ng VHF Lowband Handheld Radio
Ayon kay Cascolan, ang pondo na ibinili ng mga bagong gamit ay bahagi ng Capability Enhancement Programs (CEPs) 2019 and 2020 at CEP 2019 Balances ng PNP na aabot sa kabuuang P1,221,601,033.
Ang 11 bus units ay ipakakalat sa mga Police Regional Office.
Ang 22 units ng High-Speed Tactical Watercrafts ay ipagagamit sa PNP Maritime Group at PNP Special Action Force para sa kanilang preventive patrol at anti-criminallity operations sa coastal waters.
Ang 355 units na Patrol Jeep Single Cab 4×2 naman ay ipakakalat sa iba’t ibang municipal police stations sa buong bansa upang mapalakas pa ang police patrol operations.
Ibibigay naman sa Police Mobile Forces ang 5,767 units ng Galil Ace 22N 5.56mm Basic Assault Rifle habang ang 214 units ng VHF Lowband Handheld Radio ay para sa Communications and Electronics Service ng PNP.
