Sen. Gordon: Hindi kami mukhang pera
Umapela si Senator Richard Gordon kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na maging maingat sa pagbibitiw ng salita.
Kasunod ito ng pagsasabi ng pangulo na “mukhang pera” ang Philippine Red Cross dahil huminto ito sa pagsasagawa ng COVID-19 tests na chargeable sa PhilHealth nang umabot sa mahigit P900 milyon ang utang ng ahensya.
Ayon kay Gordon na siya ring chairman ng Red Cross, ang kanila namang sinisingil ay pagkakautang ng PhilHealth.
Sa kabila nito, bilang respeto sa pangulo, sinabi ni Gordon na bibigyan niya pa rin ito ng “benefit of the doubt”.
