35 market vendors sa Bacolod, nagpositibo sa COVID-19

Nagpositibo sa Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) ang 35 market vendors sa Bacolod.

Ayon kay Mayor Evelio Leonardia, lumabas na positibo sa nakakahawang sakit ang nasabing bilang ng market vendors matapos sumailalim sa swab test.

Nasa kabuuang 2,383 market vendors ang nakiisa sa COVID surveillance testing sa tatlong public markets kabilang ang Central, Burgos at Libertad.

Sinabi ng alkalde na ang 35 market vendors na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ay katumbas ng 1.47 porsyentong positivity rate.

“This impressive low figure means that our major markets are relatively safe and, as such, may elicit an enhanced trust and confidence from their daily customers,” pahayag ni Leonardia.

Regular din aniyang nagsasagawa ng disinfection ang City DRRMO sa mga pamilihan kada weekend upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga tindero at mamimili.

“We undertake these measures to ensure public health safety, revitalize the business prospects of our market vendors and provide more peace of mind and comfort for their customers,” dagdag pa nito.
