Mga kalsada sa Albay, Camarines Sur maaari na muling daanan ng mga motorista – DPWH
Idineklara ni Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar na maaari nang daanan ng mga motorista ang lahat ng national roads sa Albay at Camarines Sur.
Ito ay matapos magtulungan ang DPWH Regional Office 5 at kanilang District Engineering Offices (DEOs) sa massive clearing operations.
“We’d like to extend our gratitude to DPWH Sorsogon 1st and 2nd DEOs with their additional manpower and equipment deployed in Albay that allowed us to fast-track the opening of roads affected by the recent supertyphoon”, pahayag ni Villar.
“We are also looking into augmenting our teams in Catanduanes to expedite our clearing operations in vital areas,” dagdag pa nito.
Hanggang 6:00, Huwebes ng umaga (November 5), tatlong national roads sa Catanduanes na lamang ang nananatiling sarado dahil sa mga bumagsak na poste at puno, at landslides.
Sa ngayon, tuloy pa ang operasyon ng DPWH Quick Response Teams Catanduanes Circumferential Road, lalo na sa Barangay Balongbong, Bato; Barangay Libod, Pandan; Barangay Putting Baybay, San Andres; at ilang intermittent sections sa San Miguel at San Andres.
Tuloy din ang operasyon ng kagawaran para mabuksan ang road sections sa Catanduanes Circumferential Road, mula Belmonte, San Andres hanggang Barangay Francia, Virac; sa Barangay Marinawa, Bato; munisipalidad ng San Miguel; at San Andres.
