Task force para sa rehabilitasyon sa Bicol hindi na kailangan

Wala nang balak si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na bumuo pa ng task force na tututok sa rehabilitasyon sa Bicol region matapos manalasa ang bagyong Rolly.

Tugon ito ng palasyo sa hirit ni Congressman LRay Villafuerte na bumuo ng task force para mapabilis ang pagbangon ng Bicol sa bagong trahedya.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, naging istilo na ni Pangulong Duterte na umasa na lamang sa mga taong nasa ground na tuwing may kalamidad.

Halimbawa na lamang aniya ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na mayroon nang prepositioned na kagamitan para sa rehabilitation efforts.

Sinabi pa ni Roque na mismong si Pangulong Duterte na ang namumuno sa rehabilitation efforts kung kaya hindi na kailangan pa ang task force.

Personal aniyang tinutukan ng pangulo ang rehabilitasyon at tinitiyak na mabilis ang trabaho para agad na makabalik sa normal na pamumuhay ang mga residenteng nasalanta ng bagyo.

“Well, if you noticed, a task force perhaps is unnecessary because the style of the President is in case of disasters ‘no, he relies on the people on the ground right now. And right now we have DPWH having prepositioned equipment already for precisely post-typhoon rehabilitation efforts. So what we’re saying is, number one, government was prepared for this. We have prepositioned even equipment for DPWH, and food packs. And number two, the President is on top of the rehabilitation effort. A task force may not be necessary because the President is personally attending to ensure that the rehabilitation of these devastated areas will proceed as soon as possible.,” ayon kay Roque.
