Ayon kay Mayor Gaudioso Manalo, malaking hamon ang pagtugon sa kalamidad sa gitna ng nararanasang pandemya.

Kasabay ng pagresponde, nais ding mapanatili na walang kaso ng COVID-19 sa naturang bayan.
