Halaga ng pinsala sa imprastraktura dahil sa Bagyong Rolly, umabot sa P5.7-B

Umabot na sa mahigit P5.756 bilyon ang halaga ng pinsala sa imprastraktura sa bansa dulot ng Bagyong Rolly.

Ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), ito ang naitalang halaga sa mga nasirang kalsada, tulay, flood-control structures, at public buildings hanggang sa araw ng Martes, November 3.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, nasa P1.515 bilyon ang pinsala sa mga kalsada, P458.2 milyon sa mga tulay, P2.036 bilyon sa flood-control structures, P367.25 milyon sa public buildings, at P1.379 bilyon sa iba pang imprastraktura.

“As expected, our assessment teams identified majority of the destruction in Bicol Region amounting to P4.621 Billion”, pahayag ng kalihim.

Iniluat ng DPWH Bicol Region na mayroong saradong kalsada sa Catanduanes sa intermittent sections ng Catanduanes Circumferential Road dahil sa landslides, at mga bumagsak na puno at poste ng kuryente.

“DPWH quick response teams are fast-tracking clearing operations along the affected road sections in the island as we have no alternative routes as of the moment. These roads must to be opened soonest for the relief efforts which Catanduanes badly needs right now,” ani Villar.

Mayroon pa ring ilang kalsada sa Camarines Sur, Cordillera Administrative Region at Central Luzon na nananatiling sarado sa mga motorista.

Sa ngayon, nasa 19 road sections ang na-clear na at nabuksan na ng DPWH quick response teams.
