PCG, nag-deploy ng 2 helicopter para sa typhoon damage assessment sa Catanduanes

Nag-deploy ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ng dalawang airbus light twin engine helicopters na may tail numbers na CGH-1451 at CGH-1452 para suportahan ang typhoon damage assessment at emergency response operations sa Catanduanes.

Na-dispatch na ang BN Islander plane ng Coast Guard Aviation Force para sa kakailanganing tulong sa probinsya, Lunes ng umaga (November 2).

Layon din nitong matukoy ang hotspots kung saan kailangan ng agarang pagresponde at relief missions.

Maliban sa mga doktor, dala ng PCG aerial assets ang communications personnel na may high-frequency radios at portable transmitters upang mapabuti ang telecommunications service sa probinsya.

Tiniyak naman ni PCG Commandant Admiral George Ursabia Jr. sa mga residente ng Catanduanes na magbibigay ang PCG ng all-out efforts para sa mga apektadong pamilya.

“Let us be God’s instrument in helping the people of Catanduanes,” pahayag ni Ursabia.
