Isang isolation facility sa Marikina, natapos na

Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang 136-bed capacity quarantine/isolation healthcare facility sa Marikina City.

Matatagpuan ang pasilidad sa bahagi ng Barangay Nangka,

“We are continuously converting containers into mobile health facilities to assist the Department of Health (DOH) in fighting COVID-19”, pahayag ni Secretary Mark Villar.

Sa loob ng isang buwan at kalahati, na-convert ng DPWH Metro Manila 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) ang 37 units ng 40-foot container vans at isang unit ng 20-footer container van para maging 136 air-conditioned rooms.

Gagamitin ito bilang temporary medical facility para sa suspected at confirmed COVID-19 cases na mayroong mild symptoms.

Sa naturang pasilidad, mayroong walong kwarto para sa health workers, dalawang kwarto para sa X-ray and Laboratory, dalawang kwarto para sa Doctors and Nurse Station, at isang electrical room.

Samantala, natapos na rin ang 62-bed capacity isolation facility gawa sa 34 units ng container vans sa loob ng Pateros Elementary School Gymnasium.

Mayroon din itong opisina, health workers’ dorm room, control center room, at laboratory.
