20 bagong opisyal at 4,000 bagong tauhan ng PNP nanumpa sa tungkulin
Pormal nang nanumpa sa kanilang tungkulin ang aabot sa 24 na bagong Police Commissioned Officers at 4,194 na Police Non-Commissioned Officers.
Sila ay kabilang sa mga bagong miyembro ng 218,000-strong forces ng Philippine National Police.
Sa seremonya na idinaos sa PNP National Headquarters sa Camp Crame, pinangunahan ni PNP Chief, Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan ng panunumpa sa tungkulin ng 12 Police Captains at 8 Police Lieutenants na kinomisyon bilang Technical Officers sa ilalim ng 2017 Unfilled Quota Lateral Entry Program.
Ang mga Police Captain ay tatanggap ng basic monthly salary na P56,582 habang ang mga Police Lieutenant ay tatanggap ng basic salary na P49,528.
Mayroon din silang subsistence allowance, clothing allowance, quarters allowance, hazard pay, cost of living allowance, at dagdag pang kompensasyon.
Itatalaga sila bilang technical officers sa Police Regional Offices at National Operational Support Units.
Nanumpa din sa tungkulin ang 4,195 na Patrolmen at Patrolwomen na tatanggap naman ng basic salari na P29,668..
