Nagsagawa ng candle lighting ceremony ang ilang grupo sa bahagi ng Morayta, Mendiola at Plaza Miranda sa Maynila.

Ayon sa Liga Independencia Pilipinas at League of Parents of the Philippines, ito ay para sa mga kabataan na nahihikayat na sumapi sa CPP-NPA.
