Na-regular na ang 254 empleyado ng Quezon City government.
Ito ay matapos ipag-utos ni Mayor Joy Belmonte na mapabilis ang regularization process at periodical regularization ng mga empleyado simula 2019.
Karamihan sa mga empleyado ay 20 taon nang kontraktwal.
“The time has come for QC to depoliticize appointments and promotions and adhere to meritocracy,” pahayag ni Mayor Joy Belmonte.
“We ought to give our deserving and hardworking city hall employees the security of tenure and all entitlements prescribed by the law. And we hope that this will motivate them to become more productive civil servants,” dagdag pa nito.
Nagpahayag naman ng pasasalamat ang mga empleyado.
