FDA nagbabala sa publiko sa pagbili at paggamit ng SM Bonus refined at brown sugar
Nagpalabas ng babala ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sa publiko sa pagbili at paggamit ng refined at brown sugar na produkto ng SM.
Sa inilabas na FDA advisory, sinabi nitong hindi rehistrado sa ahensya ang
SM BONUS Brown Sugar at SM BONUS Refined Sugar.
Kasama din sa inilabas na babala ang MELVAN Ginger Brew with Turmeric and Lemongrass (250g), SWEET VALLEY Freeze Dried Cranberry Coated with Milk Chocolate at LORENZO FARM Dark Chocolate (55g).
Ayon sa FDA, batay sa isinagawang post-marketing surveillance, ang nasabing mga produkto ay hindi rehistrado at walang Certificates of Product Registration mula sa FDA.
Dahil dito, hindi sumailalim sa evaluation process ng FDA ang nasabing mga produkto kaya hindi matitiyak ang kalidad at kaligtasan nito.
Inabisuhan din ang mga establisyimento na alisin sa merkado ang mga hindi rehistradong produkto at huwag ipagbili sa publiko.
