Search and rescue ops, ikinasa para sa 12 nawawala sa Catanduanes

Nagsasagawa na ng search and rescue operstions ang Joint Task Force Bicolandia para sa 12 katao na nawawala sa Catanduanes dahil sa pananalasa ng bagyong Quinta.

Ayon kay Joint Task Force Bicolandia (JTFB) chief Major General Henry Robinson Jr., pinakilos na niya ang kanyang mga tauhan para mahanap ang mga nawawala.

Nagsasagawa na rin aniya ang kanilang hanay ng Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations.

Ayon kay Robinson, nakipag-ugnayan na sa Disaster Response Operation teams ng 9th Infantry (Spear) Division sa iba’t ibang Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (DRRMOs) para ilikas ang mga residente na naapektuhan ng pagbaha dahil sa bagyong Quinta.

Pinagamit na rin aniya ng JTFB ang transportation assets para sa mas mabilis na delivery ng reief goods.

“As a region frequented by typhoons, there is no room for complacency. We always have to prepare and be on guard. Though Quinta brought damages in agriculture and infrastructure, we are blessed that God spared the lives of the Bicolanos,” pahayag ng opisyal.

“Tapos na ang bagyo ngunit marami pa sa ating mga kababayan ang nangangailangan ng tulong. Ngayon po natin pairalin ang tinatawag nating bayanihan spirit.Let us be of help to one another,” dagdag ni Robinson.
