Same-sex partners dapat payagan sa ‘joint property’ – Sen. Imee Marcos

Kabilang ang “An Act Instituting A Property Regime For Cohabiting Same Sex Partners And For Other Purposes,” sa mga unang panukalang batas na inihain ni Marcos nang maupo siya bilang senador noong 2019.

“ What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered,”diin nito at aniya, “it’s time to seriously take up legislation that will benefit our relatives, friends, and workmates who are part of the LGBT community.”

Dagdag pa ni Marcos at gaya ng sinabi ni Pope Francis, “ homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God.”
