Southwest Monsoon season o pag-iral ng Habagat tapos na ayon sa PAGASA

Terminated na ang pag-iral ng Southwest Monsoon o Hanging Habagat sa bansa.

Ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng PAGASA, batay sa kanilang analyses, tuluyan na ang paghina ng Southwest Monsoon nitong nagdaang mga araw.

Lumalakas naman ang high-pressure area sa Asian continent na nagreresulta sa unti-unting pagpapalit ng season.

Sinabi ng PAGASA na unti-unti ay mararamdaman na ang pagsisimula ng Northeast Monsoon (NE) season o pag-iral ng Hanging Amihan.

“The season in the Philippines is in the process of transition and will be expecting the gradual start of the Northeast Monsoon (NE) season in the coming days with the shift in the direction of the winds,” ayon sa PAGASA.

Sa kabila nito, patuloy pa rin naman ang pagkakaroon ng La Niña sa bansa.

Sinabi ng PAGASA na ang pinagsanib-pwersa ng Amihan at La Niña ay maaring magdulot ng malakas na pag-ulan, pagbaha at rain-induced landslides.
