Sabwatan sa pagitan ng ilang mambabatas, DPWH officials ibinunyag ni PACC chief Belgica
Sinabi ni Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission Commissioner Greco Belgica na may ilang mambabatas ang nakikipag-sabwatan sa ilang opisyal ng DPWH at project contractors para gumawa ng katiwalian.
Sinabi ni Beligica ginagamit ng mga mambabatas ang kanilang impluwensiya sa pagpapatupad ng mga lokal na proyekto maging sa galawan ng district engineers ng DPWH.
“Ang mga DPWH (Department of Public Works and Highways) district engineers…binubully ng mga congressman yan e, ang mga project niyan, yan ang dumadale,” sabi ni Belgica sa isang panayam sa radyo.
Dagdag pa nito,” That’s the conspiracy there, Congress, DPWH, contractors, district engineers. District engineers are small employees. If you dismiss them, fire them or move them to another post, they can’t do anything. Powerful people like a congressman really can assert influence so they can be moved to another.”
Hindi naman niya kinilala ang mga mambabatas.
Ipinaliwanag din nito ang maaring solusyon sa problema at para sa mas mahigpit na pagsubaybay sa mga katiwalian.
Una nang kinondena ni Pangulong Duterte ang nagpapatuloy na katiwalian sa DPWH.
