Isang PBA game official, nagpositibo sa COVID-19; Mga laro, tuloy pa rin

Inanunsiyo ng Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) na isang game official ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, lumabas na positibo sa nakakahawang sakit ang game official 24 oras matapos sumailalim sa mandatory swab test kasama ang 27 iba pa noong October 19.

Dinala na aniya ang game official sa Athlete’s Village sa Tarlac para isailalim sa quarantine.

Ang first at second layer persons na nagkaroon ng contact sa game official ay inilagay din sa isolation at muling susuriin sa araw ng Linggo, October 24.

Gayunman, tuloy pa rin ang lahat ng naka-schedule na laro ngunit ipatutupad ang stricter measures sa loob ng ‘bubble’ at sa kasagsagan ng mga laro.

Bilang bahagi ng protocol, lahat ng aktibidad tulad ng swimming, gym, jogging at iba pa ay pansamantalang suspendido para bigyang-daan ang gagawing sanitization.

Tiniyak naman ni Marcial ang kaligtasan at seguridad ng lahat ng kabilang sa PBA bubble.

Istrikto ring ipatutupad ang routine disinfection, pagsusuot ng face masks, face shields at social distancing, at contact tracing procedure sa bubble.
