Quarantine facility sa Nasipit, Agusan del Norte pinasinayaan na
Nai-turnover na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang 50-bed isolation facility sa Department of Health (DOH) at lokal na pamahalaan ng Nasipit, Agusan Del Norte.
Ayon kay DPWH Secretary at Isolation Czar Mark Villar, makatutulong ang bagong quarantine facility para sa health care capacity ng munisipalidad ng Nasipit at mga karatig-bayan sa Agusan Del Norte.
“This isolation facility built by the DPWH Regional Office 13 and Agusan Del Norte District Engineering Office following the standard design prepared by the DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local and National Health Facilities to prevent further transmission of the virus is part of the proactive response of the government in containing the spread of the virus” pahayag ni Villar.
Nagparating naman ng pasasalamat ang mga opisyal ng naturang probinsya sa kalihim at DPWH Task Force.
Tumayo si DPWH Undersecretary Emil Sadain, pinuno ng Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local and National Health Facilities, bilang representante ni Villar sa inauguration at turn-over ceremony noong Lunes, October 19.
Ang Nasipit Quarantine Facility ay may dalawang magkahiwalay na gusali na may apat na units ng toilet para sa lalaki, lima para sa babae, isa para sa person with disability at 16 bathrooms.
Mayroon ding medical personnel quarter na may toilet, bathroom at food preparation/kitchen area.
“DPWH will continue to exert extra efforts to ensure we help the entire country rise up in this time of struggle, and for us, that’s what keeps the Bayanihan alive,” ani Sadain.
Sinabi ng kagawaran na patuloy ang pagsasagawa ng iba pang isolation center sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Northeastern Mindanao o Caraga Region.
