Mga empleyado ng BI, sasalang sa libreng COVID-19 swab test
Inanunsiyo ni Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Jaime Morente na magbibigay ng libreng COVID-19 RT-PCR tests para sa kanilang mga empleyado na nakararanas ng sintomas ng nakakahawang sakit.
“Being frontliners, BI personnel are one of the most at risk as we are in close contact with numerous people every day in the performance of our duties,” pahayag ni Morente.
Layon aniya ng naturang hakbang na matiyak ang kaligtasan at maayos na kalusugan ng lahat.
Ayon naman kay BI Deputy Commissioner Aldwin Alegre, pinuno ng BI COVID Task Force, isasagawa ang swab testing sa tulong ng ilang partner agencies.
“We have received allocation for swab kits from the Philippine Coast Guard and the Local Government Unit of Manila,” ani Alegre.
Lubos aniyang nagpapasalamat ang ahensya sa suporta ng iba pang ahensya.
Batay sa datos ng BI, limang empleyado ang posibleng sumalang sa pagsusuri.
Prayoridad aniya ang mga empleyado na may sintomas ng COVID-19 at ang mga empleyado na nagkaroon ng close contact sa confirmed COVID-19 patients.
Isasagawa ang pagsusuri sa BI employees sa Palacio de Maynila, Manila Health Office, at Palacio del Gobernador sa Intramuros.
