Bilang ng mga umuwing overseas Filipinos ngayong may pandemya ng COVID-19 mahigit 223,000 na

Umabot na sa 223,294 overseas Filipinos (OFs) ang napauwi sa ilalim ng repatriation program ng pamahalaan simula nang magkaroon ng pandemic ng OCVID-19.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga umuwing OFs, 73,870 (33.08%) ay pawang sea-based, habang 149,424 (66.92%) ang land-based.

Sa datos ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nito lamang nagdaang linggo dagdag na 9,352 na OFs ang nakauwi sa bansa.

Malaking bilang ng mga OFs na nakauwi sa bansa nitong nagdaang linggo ay mula sa Middle East na umabot sa 8,444.

Mayroon ding 512 mula sa Asia and the Pacific, 394 mula Europe, at 2 mula sa The Americas.

Lulan sila ng 38 special commercial repatriation flights.
