Modern DepEd building, itinayo ng DPWH sa Sorsogon

Natapos na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang pagtatayo ng modern, two-storey building project para sa Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office (SDO) sa Sorsogon City.

Makikita ang bagong proyekto sa loob ng Provincial Capitol Compound sa Barangay Balogo.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, magsisilbi ang bagong proyekto bilang energy-efficient at eco-friendly workplace sa mga empleyado ng DepEd-Sorsogon.

“The modern DepEd SDO building has glass wall panels in the entire façade of the structure not just to add aesthetics but  to allow as much natural light and reduce the amount of power used in its lighting systems,” pahayag ng kalihim.

“With an improved office building, we hope to boost the morale of our educators in the province of Sorsogon. This is our way of appreciation as our teachers play a key role in nation building,” dagdag pa nito.

Ang konstruksyon ng Sorsogon SDO ay ipinatupad ng DPWH Sorsogon 2nd District Engineering Office na nagkakahalaga ng P105 milyon.
