Dalawa pang isolation facility sa Visayas, tapos na – DPWH
Nai-turnover na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang karagdagang dalawang COVID-19 isolation facilities sa Dagami, Leyte at Nueva Valencia, Guimaras Province.
Inanunsiyo ni DPWH Secretary at Isolation Czar Mark Villar na tapos na ang pagtatayo ng pasilidad na bahagi ng nationwide program ng kagawaran para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19.
Makikita ang pasilidad sa Barangay Sampao East Poblacio sa Dagami habang ang isa naman ay nasa Nueva Valencia, Guimaras na may 45-bed capacity.
“Both of these isolation facilities are fully-equipped and follow the standard design prepared by DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local and National Health Facilities to ensure safety and comfort of our beneficiaries. These are designed to prevent further transmission of the virus,” pahayag ng kalihim.
Ang quarantine facility sa Dagami, Leyte, ika-18 modular hospital na nakumpleto sa Eastern Visayas, ay mula sa container vans na na-convert para maging isolation facility.
Ayon naman kay DPWH Region 8 Director Nerie Bueno, may dalawa pang isolation facilities sa Catbalogan, Samar na ginagawa ang kagawaran.
Inaasahan aniyang matatapos ang mga naturang proyekto sa buwan ng Oktubre.
Sa Region 6, ang pasilidad naman sa Nueva Valencia, Guimaras ay isang Regional Evacuation Center Building na na-convert sa 45 units individual isolation cubicles.
Ilalaan ang pasilidad para sa locally stranded individuals (LSIs) na babalik sa probinsya, suspected COVID-19 patients at confirmed cases.
Maliban sa isolation cubicles, mayroon ding nurse stations at office working areas para sa mga nurse at medical practitioners na maa-assign sa pasilidad.
