HPG isasailalim sa training para maipangtapat sa riding-in-tandem
Tatapatan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga riding-in-tandem sa bansa.
Pahayag ito ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa gitna ng tumataas na kaso ng kriminalidad na kinasasangkutan ng riding-in-tandem o ito ang mga masasamang loob na gumagawa ng krimen at karaniwang magka-angkas sa motorsiklo.
Ayon sa pangulo, tumaas ang kaso ng holdap at street crimes nang buksan ang ekonomiya ng bansa na una nang nalugmok dahil sa COVID-19.

And of course, people are now allowed to roam freely and to travel. The most convenient way is really ‘yung motor. Kapag nakapatay sila, diretso sakay. I saw one footage ‘yung tinabihan lang,” pahayag ng pangulo.
Malaya na kasi aniyang nakagagalaw at nakabibiyahe ang mga tao na sinasamantala naman ng mga kriminal.

Ayon sa pangulo, multo para sa mga pulis kung paano habulin ang mga kriminal na madaing nakatatakas sakay lamang ng motorsiklo.
“This is very hard to control. I understand the nightmare the police are facing on how to control the mobility of the criminal right after committing a crime. Kasi ang motor kasi nagsi-zigzag lang ‘yan in and out of traffic situations and they can really get away with it easily. Unlike the motor vehicles, ma-ano ng traffic. But itong mga motor kung minsan dumadaan pa ng ano sidewalk eh. That is also a matter which we have to address itong ano,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Dahil dito, tatapatan ni Pangulong Duterte ang mga kriminal.
“Ano kayang mabuti nito? We can train the highway patrol. We can train about siguro in one class 30. We have to increase the mobile capacity ng pulis at saka we can buy motorcycles ‘yung mahahaba, all that can negotiate any obstacle, the ordinary obstacles that you’d find in the streets.Pero hindi nakauniporme. Alam mo we should… I know that it is not advisable but the only way to really counter the anonymity of a criminal is also to fight the thing on the ground. Iyong mga — there should be detectives again at ito ‘yung magpasyal lang,” dagdag ng punong ehekutibo.
Base sa talaan ng joint task force COVID shield, 12,847 na krimen ang naitala mula Marso hanggang Agosto ngayong taon.
“I really intend to go hard within the last two years of my term pati itong mga kriminal,” pahayag ng pangulo.
