Anti-Terror Law puwedeng ikasa sa naarestong suspected Indonesian suicide bomber ayon kay Sen. Lacson

Naniniwala si Senator Panfilo Lacson na maaring maging test case ng bagong Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 sa naarestong suspected Indonesian suicide bomber sa Sulu kamakailan.

Ayon kay Lacson base sa mga bomba at gamit na nakumpiska mula kay Nana Isirani naghahanda ito ng terrorist attack.

Paliwanag ng senador kahit ang paghahanda pa lang sa pagkasa ng terorismo ay maari nang makasuhan ng mas mabigat base sa bagong batas.

Ibinahagi nito nang malaman niya na tumanggi si Sulu Provincial Prosecutor Anna Marie Ledesma na kasahan ng paglabag sa Anti-Terrorism Law si Isirani sa katuwiran na wala pang implementing rules and regulations o IRR ang batas, agad siyang tumawag kay Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra.

Tiniyak naman sa kanya ni Guevarra na pagsasabihan nito si Ledesma para malinawan na ang pagpapatupad ng batas ay hindi nakadepende sa IRR.
