Bulacan Airport Bill pasado na sa huling pagbasa sa Senado

Inaprubahan na sa 3rd and final reading sa Senado ang panukalang batas na magbibigay ng prangkisa San Miguel Aerocity Inc. para sa operasyon ng paliparan sa Bulacan.

Sa botong 22-0 naipasa ang tinaguriang “Bulacan Airport Bill”.

Kung ia-adopt ng Kamara ang bersyon ng Senado, hindi na kakailanganin pang magkaroon ng bicameral conference sa panukala at ididiretso na ito kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Ang Bulacan Airport at airport city ay itatayo sa 2,500-hectare ng lupain sa bayan ng Bulakan.

Inaasahang makatutulong ito para ma-decongest ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
