Face-to-face classes malabo pa kahit sa mga lugar na walang kaso ng COVID-19 ayon sa DepEd

Malabo pang maibalik ang face-to-face classes ngayong mayroong pandemya ng COVID-19.

Tugon ito ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa hirit ng ilang local government units (LGUs) na payagan ang face-to-face classes sa kanilang lugar dahil wala naman silang kaso ng COVID-19.

Sa panayam ng Radyo INQUIRER sinabi ni DepEd Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction Diosdado San Antonio na may mga LGU na lumiham sa ahensya para hilinging payagan ang pagkakaroon ng face-to-face classes sa kanilang nasasakupan.

Pero ayon kay San Antonio, malinaw ang utos ni Pangulong Duterte na hindi muna hahayaan ang face-to-face classes hangga’t walang bakuna kontra COVID-19.

Gayunman, sinabi ni San Antonio na
pinaghahandaan din naman nila ang posibilidad na payagan ang pagkakaroon na ng klase sa mga lugar kasi na walang kaso ng sakit.

Kabilang sa pinaghahandaan ang posibilidad na kahit na once o twice a week ay pwedeng mayroong face-to-face classes.
