P96.6M na halaga ng smuggled na sigarilyo nakumpiska ng BOC
Nakumpiska ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs – Port of Davao ang aabot sa mahigit P96.6 million na halaga ng imported na mga sigarilyo.
Ang nasabing mga sigarilyo ay lulan ng apat na 40-footer container vans.
Ang nasabing mga kargamento ay unang inalerto dahil idineklara itong naglalaman ng kahon-kahong plastic cups at mga tela.
Naka-consigne ang mga kargamento sa Allycorp International Inc.
Nang buksan ang mga container van ay nakita ang 3,628 na kahon ng assorted branded na sigarilyo.
Nagpalabas agad ng Warrants of Seizure and Detentions (WSD) sa nasabing mga kargamento.
