US nagbigay ng laptops, learning materials sa DepEd

Napasakamay na ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang higit 150 laptop computers, printers at projectors gayundin ang 80 sets ng learning materials mula sa gobyerno ng Estados Unidos.

Ang donasyon ay suporta ng Amerika sa Pilipinas para sa pagpapatuloy ng edukasyon sa gitna ng nararanasang pandemiya dulot ng COVID-19.

Pinangunahan ni United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Lawrence Hardy II ang pagbibigay ng kanilang donasyon kay Education Assistant Secretary for Alternative Learning System G.H. Ambat.

Suportado ng US ang Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan ng DepEd, na pagsusumikap ng kagawaran na matiyak na magpapatuloy ang edukasyon sa bansa lalo na sa mga out-of-school youth.

Nabatid na magbibigay pa ang USAID ng karagdagang P34 milyon halaga ng laptops, computers, printers, projectors at iba pang materyales sa ALS Task Force ng DepEd.
