P8.4-M halaga ng marijuana sinira sa Balamban, Cebu
Sinira ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at Philippine National Police (PNP) ang mahigit P4.6 milyong halaga ng marijuana sa Cebu, Huwebes ng umaga (October 1).
Ayon sa PDEA – Central Visayas (PDEA RO7), isinagawa ang marijuana eradication sa bahagi ng Sitio Udlom, Boundary ng Barangay Cabasiangan at Barangay Sunog, Balamban dakong 8:35 ng umaga.
Sinira sa operasyon ang humigit-kumulang 21,200 fully grown marijuana plants sa dalawang plantation sites.
Tinatayang nagkakahalaga ito ng P8,400,000.
Nakatakas naman ang cultivator na si Jhonrick Coca, isang high value target.
Kasong paglabag sa Section 16, Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 ang isasampa laban sa suspek.
