DPWH, nagtatayo ng pop-up hospital sa Lung Center of the Philippines

Nagsasagawa ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ng pop-up hospital sa Lung Center of the Philippines sa Quezon City.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, chief isolation czar, makatutulong ang 16-bed capacity modular hospital upang suportahan ang health care services sa naturang ospital.

Gagamitin din aniya ng pamunuan ng Lung Center management ang mobile hospital para magamot ang mga severe COVID-19 patient.

Samantala, nagsagawa na ng inspeksyon si DPWH Undersceretary Emil Sadain, pinuno ng said DPWH Task Force, kasama sina Bureau of Maintenance Director Ernesto Gregorio, Jr.; Bureau of Design Director Aristarco Doroy; at Bureau of Construction Director Eric Ayapana at Asst. Director Edgar Garces sa 8-room facility na may dalawang kama kada kwarto.

Maliban dito, magtatayo rin ang DPWH Task Force ng limang modular hospitals sa bahagi ng Quezon Institute compound sa E. Rodriguez Avenue, Quezon City.

Ito ay may total capacity na 110 beds at mayroon pang hiwalay na nursing station, equipment laboratory, pantry, storage, medical gas line, cctv system, at elavated pathway na magkokonekta sa mga cluster.
