Hiniling ni Senator Grace Poe sa mga kapwa senador na aprubahan na ang 11 franchise bids na dumaan na sa pinamumunuan niyang Committee on Public Services.
Ang mga prangkisa ay para sa telecommunications, broadcast, airport, power at race track o karerahan ng mga kabayo.
Sinabi ni Poe na malaki ang maitutulong sa ekonomiya ng mga kompaniya na humihirit ng prangkisa.
For franchise renewal ang nais ng Bayantel, Cruz Telephone Co., at Tandag Electric and Telephone Company Inc.
Sa broadcast industry naman ay nais din ng FBS Radio Network Inc,. Century Communications Marketing Center Inc., Caceres Broadcasting Corp., Negros Broadcasting and Publishing Corp at Philippine Colelective Media Corp., na mabigyan ng bagong prangkisa.
Inirekomenda na rin ni Poe na mabigyan ng prangkisa ang Davao Light, gayundin ang Metro Manila Turf Club Inc., ang operator ng isang karerahan sa Batangas.
Gayundin ang San Miguel Aerocity Inc., na magtatayo at magbubukas ng modernong international and domestic airport sa Bulacan.
