Overall progress rate ng Bicol International Airport, nasa 68 porsyento na
Patuloy pa rin ang pagsasagawa sa Bicol International Airport (BIA) sa Daraga, Albay.
Ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), nasa 68.7 porsyento na ang overall progress rate ng naturang proyekto.
Hanggang September 29, 83.6 porsyento nang kumpleto ang Package 2A ng airport development project kung saan sakop ang landside facilities at iba pang gusali.
Sa Package 2B naman kung saan sakop ang konstruksyo ng PTB, runway extension, taxiway, drainage, at iba pang site development works ay 40 porsyento nang tapos.
Oras na matapos ang proyekto, kayang ma-accommodate nito ang mahigit 2 milyong pasahero kada taon.
Sa tulong nito, mapapabuti ang air traffic at tourist arrivals sa Bicol region.
Nakatakdang makumpleto ang proyekto sa taong 2020.
