Ikawalang swab testing lab ng Sta. Ana Hospital, binuksan na

Pinangunahan ni Manila Mayor Isko Moreno ang pagbubukas ng ikalawang swab testing laboratory ng Sta. Ana Hospital, araw ng Martes.

Kasama ni Moreno si Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan at ilang opisyal ng Ayala Group of Companies sa inagurasyon ng RT-PCR Molecular Laboratory ng Sta. Ana Hospital bilang suporta sa hakbang ng Manila City government laban sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Kayang makapagproseso nito ng 1,000 tests sa isang araw.

Dahil dito, makakapagsagawa na ang Sta. Ana Hospital ng 30,000 tests sa isang buwan para sa lungsod.

Nagpasalamat ang alkalde sa ibinigay na P8.5 milyong kontribusyon ng Ayala Group of Companies para sa konstruksyon ng molecular laboratory.

“We were trying to ask for a discount for the construction of the Sta. Ana Hospital. When City Engineer Armand Andres reported back to me, he said the Ayala family will provide a discount—about 100%,” ani Moreno.

Dagdag pa nito, “If it’s expensive, pera naman ng taumbayan yan. They deserve better things from the government. Your city government, in our own little way, will not stop serving our fellow Manileños.”
