Unspent P10B SAP, ipamahagi na lang bilang “Christmas ayuda” – Sen. Ralph Recto

Mabuti ng meron kahit huli kaysa wala.

Ito ang sinabi ni Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto sa kanyang paghimok sa DSWD na ipamahagi pa rin ang hindi nagasta na P10 bilyon na nailaan sa Special Amelioration Program o SAP sa Bayanihan Law.

Sa pagtataya ni Recto kundi sa mga huling araw ng Nobyembre ay maaring maipamahagi ang tulong-pinansiyal sa pagpasok ng Disyembre kaya’t masasabi na ito ay ‘Christmas ayuda.’

Pagtitiyak pa ng senador kung papayagan ni Pangulong Duterte ang pamamahagi ng 3rd SAP, susuportahan ito ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso.

Aniya hindi na pahahabain pa ng mga mambabatas ang CBA o Christimas Bargaining Agreement para naman kahit paano maibsan ang kalungkutan ng milyon-milyong Filipino na naghihirap dahil sa pandemiya.

Puna ni Recto ang mararanasang Kapaskuhan ang maaring pinakamalungkot na simula noong World War II para sa mga Filipino.
